Biography
Daniella Ohad received her Ph.D. degree from the Bard Graduate
Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture. For the
past two decades, she has been committed to education in design history,
theory, and the decorative arts.
She has been a faculty member at the Department of Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting of Parsons the New School for Design since 2000, and has taught at Pratt Institute, Bard College, and Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem. Mrs. Ohad has been teaching, conducting, and curating public lectures, as well as speaking in conferences and publishing in scientific journals and popular magazines. As an art adviser, she has assembled distinctive private collections of twentieth-century furniture and decorative arts. Ms. Ohad takes part in the museums arena as a member of several acquisition committees of major museums in New York City. |
