Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier integrates a classical sense of proportion, scale and beauty into his work. He is best known for the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles and the High Museum in Atlanta and for residential buildings on Perry Street and Grand Army Plaza in New York. His most recent books are Building Up and Tearing Down: Reflections on the Age of Architecture and Why Architecture Matters. Paul Goldberger is the longtime architectural critic for The New Yorker and a Pulitzer Prize winner.
