Design historian, curator, writer, influencer, educator, keynote speaker, blogger, hostess of a talk show, Daniella Ohad received her Ph.D. degree from the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture. For the past two decades, she has been committed to education in design/architecture history, theory, design connoisseurship, and the decorative arts. She has been a faculty member at the New York School of Interior Design, and currently teaches at the Center for Architecture/AIA. Dr. Ohad has conducted public lectures, interviews on stage, conferences, videos, and has published in scientific journals, magazines, and in her popular blog Daniella on Design. As an art adviser, she has assembled distinctive private collections of modern and contemporary design, and participates as a member of acquisition committees of major New York City museums.
